Responsibilities
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to the organization’s information systems.
- Develop, review, and update information security policies and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection laws, standards, and frameworks.
- Establish and maintain an incident response plan to effectively address and mitigate security incidents.
- Coordinate and participate in internal and external security audits and assessments.
- Track and report on the status of security vulnerabilities and remediation efforts.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports on the organization’s security posture, incidents, and trends to relevant stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively with management and other teams regarding security-related matters.
- Keep technical knowledge current through continuing education.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or a related field, we consider (including final year students).
- Preferably, proven experience in information security roles, with a focus on risk management, compliance, and incident response.
- Familiarity with relevant security standards and frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
- Certifications such as CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Understanding of network security, cryptography, and security technologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Fluent written and spoken proficiency in both Lithuanian and English.
