Chief Accountant

Squalio team is looking for an analytical and data-driven Chief Accountant. You will play an important role in our company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in accounting and compliance with the law.


  • Maintain full cycle accounting (payroll, tax compliances and other general accounting duties);
  • Perform monthly/quarterly/yearly financial closing activities according to set deadlines;
  • Prepare financial statements and annual reports;
  • Coordinate internal and external audit procedures, cooperate with external auditors;
  • Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations;
  • Maintain and develop accounting system to comply with local statutory and Group requirements;
  • Perform regular Cash flow planning;
  • Ad hock reporting to management and other stakeholders;
  • Participate and coordinate internally annual budgeting, forecasting;
  • Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions;
  • Review and maintain updated existing accounting procedures;
  • Coordinate and maintain internal HR documentation (employment agreements, vacations etc.).


  • At least 3 years of experience in full cycle accounting;
  • Degree in Accounting or Finance;
  • Knowledge of local accounting standards, IFRS will be considered as an advantage;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, ability to summarize and present information in clear and understandable format;
  • Strong verbal and written English and Lithuanian skills;
  • Skills of Rivilė and NetSuit would be considered as an advantage;
  • High attention to details, self-driven and open minded;
  • Ability to meet the demands of an ever-changing business.
