Microsoft has announced that Squalio won the Latvia 2024 Microsoft Partner of the Year Award. The company was honored among a global field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementing customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.

Squalio CEO Gatis Ošs says: “We at Squalio are thrilled to accept the Microsoft Latvia Partner of the Year Award. This award is a testament to our team's hard work and dedication, and the close collaboration we have had with all the involved parties.

We won the award due to our innovative work on the Generative AI Retrieval augmented generation virtual assistant for the legal advisory company Sorainen. By leveraging Microsoft's advanced AI technologies, we were able to develop a solution that addresses critical challenges related to managing vast amounts of unstructured data.

This award is not just a recognition of our achievements, but also a celebration of the strong partnership between Squalio, Sorainen, and Microsoft.”

Madars Lapčenoks, Sorainen Chief Information Security Officer, adds: “Squalio offered us help with Open AI proof of concept as soon as Open AI became available for our Azure tenant, so we were one of the first in the Baltics to adapt it. The whole POC process was fast and smooth with the knowledge Squalio being invaluable for using such a new product, allowing us to quickly see the potential and benefits Open AI can bring to our organization!”
