The prestigious Micrisoft Corporation Award granted to DPA

DPA was repeatedly awarded with the prestigious Microsoft Corporation award “Partner of the Year in Latvia 2015”. The company was appreciated among the top global partners of Microsoft that have demonstrated their excellence implementing innovative customer solutions based on Microsoft technologies. The award was presented during the Global Partner Conference of Microsoft taking place on 12th-16th July in Orlando, the USA.

Award in the nomination “Partner of the Year 2015” is awarded every year to the company that has demonstrated on national level outstanding results in providing the most effective Microsoft cloud solutions to their clients in private and public sector throughout the year. Awards are presented in multiple nominations and the winner is selected from more than 2300 applications in 108 countries.

DPA was awarded for implementation of cloud solution for the Public Utilities Commission (Regulator). The multi-functional Microsoft Office 365 platform introduced as part of the project provides effective and safe day-to-day cloud work for staff of the Regulator: the latest Office applications accessible from any location and device; convenient e-mail platform including calendar option for perfect time scheduling; file storage tailored for joint use and editing of files; Skype for business for prompt daily communication and online conferences with colleagues and clients; system-based internal website for information and  document exchange.

"It was our objective to improve and upgrade functionality of the existing technologies along with optimization of the IT costs and reducing daily loan on the IT department. The implemented solution has turned our vision into reality; it enables enhanced productivity and flexibility whilst continuing to meet the high safety requirements”, notes Aivars Veiss, Executive Director of the Regulator.
